(⚠️ Note: Do not buy tickets to Dujiangyan Station! Lidui Park Station is much closer to the scenic area, several kilometers nearer.)

🏨 Accommodation Tips
Want a comfortable and unique stay with kids? We recommend the "Qingcheng Wild Luxury Hotel on Qingchengshan Road" near the scenic area! The standalone wooden cabins are nestled in the forest, with green views right outside the window. They offer parent-child crafts and cute pet interactions for kids. The hotel provides a dedicated shuttle to the scenic area entrance, so no need to navigate with kids. Top-notch service makes it worry-free, and you can stargaze at night—much more kid-friendly than ordinary hotels.

🌿 Kid-Friendly Route (One-Day Tour)
1. Yangtianwo Square (Free): Giant panda selfie spot that’s super eye-catching! The same photo spot as Dilraba Dilmurat. Dress kids in bright colors for adorable photos in 10 minutes. Kids can also run around to burn off energy.
2. After exiting the station, take a taxi to Dujiangyan Scenic Area: For less walking, choose Gate 4 (Liji Pavilion entrance), about 15 minutes; for panoramic views, choose Gate 6 (Qinyan Tower). Tell the driver you have kids so they try to stop closer.
3. About Tickets 🎫: Adults 80 yuan, half price 40 yuan for kids over 1.3 meters or students, free for under 6 or over 60! Book in advance on the official platform and enter by scanning ID—no need to queue with kids.
❗️Attention Shanghai residents! Show your household registration book or ID at the window to buy tickets for only 15 yuan each—super cost-effective. Tickets are also available on-site, no worries.
4. Recommended Routes
Route 1 (3-4 hours, for energetic kids): Enter Gate 4 → buy one-way escalator ticket for Buyun Corridor (no stairs with kids!) → go to Yulei Pavilion to overlook all of Dujiangyan, kids can see how water flows → walk down West Gate → stroll Songmao Ancient Trail (small vendors sell cute souvenirs, kids can pick a gift) → Erwang Temple (tell kids the story of Li Bing’s water control, very educational) → Anlan Suspension Bridge (walk slowly with kids to feel the ancient bridge’s wonder) → Yuzui, Feishayan, Baopingkou (visit in order so kids understand the water conservancy step by step) → exit from South Bridge and enjoy local food.
Route 2 (2-3 hours, for younger kids): Enter Gate 6 (Qinyan Tower) → go straight to Erwang Temple for panoramic views → walk Anlan Suspension Bridge → Yuzui, Feishayan, Baopingkou → exit South Bridge. Mostly downhill, almost no need to carry kids, easy to visit core spots.

🍜 Food (Kid-Friendly Options)
• You Rabbit Head: Order the five-spice rabbit leg for kids! The meat is tender and can be torn into small pieces for kids to eat. Parents can enjoy the spicy rabbit head. Authentic old-brand flavor.
• Daojianglou River Fresh Restaurant: Just to the left of South Bridge, the signature boneless fish is a must! Few bones and tender meat, safe for kids. Mapo tofu is mildly spicy, mixed with rice kids can eat a big bowl. Average cost 100+ yuan per person, worth it for a special meal with kids.
• Sister Xie’s Fresh Pig Trotters (No. 93 Jiang’an Road Courtyard): Locals highly recommend this old clay pot pig trotter! Only two pots sold daily, super tender, can be scooped with a spoon. Great mixed with porridge or noodles for kids, fresh with no gamey taste, kids love it.

📸 Easy Photo Spots
1. Anlan Suspension Bridge: Walk with kids on the swaying bridge, get close views of the Min River. Photos have a great atmosphere. Remember to hold kids’ hands.
2. Baopingkou: Let kids stand on the viewing platform and watch the river flow through the narrow bottle neck, helping them understand the principle of "diversion" while playing.
3. South Bridge: Beautifully lit at night! Let kids feel the river breeze on the bridge, enjoy the night view, and take photos that look like a fairy tale bridge.
4. Yuzui: Stand on the viewing platform and point out the "Inner River" and "Outer River" to kids, explaining simply the function of "dividing the river water," which kids can understand.

⚠️ Pitfall Tips
1. Don’t trust “free guides” at the scenic area entrance! They might take kids to shopping spots. Official guides are more professional and tell stories suitable for children.
2. Don’t drive to Qinyan Tower on holidays! Traffic jams are terrible. Taking a taxi with kids is more worry-free. Call a taxi 10 minutes early to avoid long waits and kids getting upset.
Follow this guide to tour with kids effortlessly, let them learn about the water conservancy marvel, and have fun with meaningful experiences~
