When I was in charge of mass, the manners of mass in Vietnam were unique, and while we were praying, they folded their arms. From the outside, it was a pose that would probably get me in trouble in Japan. The manners are different in different countries, but I was surprised that even Catholics can be so different. And I'm sure my Vietnamese friend who I met in Rome was even more surprised.

And there are many children in Vietnam, a developing country, and there were many children at mass, and I was shocked at the difference from my own church. Just the presence of children livened up the atmosphere.
