While the temple buildings and Buddha statues tend to draw your attention, there are hidden photogenic spots.

The seven buildings are connected by a corridor, and visitors walk along this corridor to see the seven buildings that represent Eiheiji.

The stairs are great for taking photos, but the view of the world through the latticed stairs is also magnificent. It's even more so during the autumn foliage season.

This is a wonderful spot, with the unassuming corridor, the sunlight spreading through it, and the shadow puppets interweaving.

As you'd expect from a training hall, the corridor is sparkling clean.
