Strolling Around Flåm

After the scenic Flåmsbana train ride, spending time in Flåm village was like stepping into a postcard. The air was crisp and fresh, and the surrounding mountains framed the small village beautifully. I wandered through the Flåm Visitor Centre area, where charming wooden houses painted in warm red tones lined the streets. Everything felt peaceful and inviting, with friendly travelers enjoying the quiet rhythm of this fjord-side town.

A short walk led me to the Aurlandsfjord, where the view was simply breathtaking — calm, reflective waters stretching between towering cliffs. I watched geese wandering freely near the shore while people paused to take in the stunning landscape. The blue sky, scattered clouds, and greenery created the perfect backdrop for a serene afternoon.

Further along the fjord, rows of red boathouses stood gracefully by the water, adding a touch of color and charm to the tranquil scenery. The whole atmosphere was calm and refreshing, a perfect escape into nature’s beauty.
