Glacier Hiking Bucket List in Ice National Park!
🍂🍁
The Grinnell Glacier Trail is one of the most popular hikes in the Ice National Park, and for good reason! This trail takes you to Grinnell Glacier, nestled among beautiful mountains. Along the way, you’ll see four different lakes and waterfalls – and if you’re lucky – lots of wildlife. It’s definitely worth adding to your hiking bucket list.

See below for trail details and photo notes, and save this post for inspiration on your Ice National Park hike!

Photo Notes
#1 Fall colors were on display along the trail.
🍁🍂
#2 The most beautiful and cutest grizzly bear. We also saw black bears, mosa, delin, and mountain goats.
#3 Amiana standing at the Glacier Station. The glacier was huge!
#4 I'm pretty sure Grennell Lake is filled with blue Gatorides. Prove me wrong.
#6 Gwen walks on rocks containing stromatolites, also known as blue fossils (blue-green algae).
#7 Mountain grapes hanging on the side of a mountain!
#8 Creepy SZN. Just kidding, that's just melted watermelon snow (aka pink snow).
#10 Grinnell Falls, carries water from Upper Grinnell Lake (where the glacier is located) to Grennell Lake.
