Giotto's Campanile is a famous Gothic building in Florence, Italy. It is the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore). Please remember that although it is a building, the tickets must be purchased separately. It was built from 1334 to 1359 and was designed by the artist Giotto di Bondone. But Giotto died before the bell tower was completed, and it was later completed by Andrea Pisano and Francesco Talenti. It is about 278 feet high. The exterior wall of the building's bell tower is spliced with white, red and green marble, inlaid with reliefs and statues.
Try not to go to the dome and the bell tower on the same day, as it will make you too tired. Because you have to climb 414 steps to reach the top of the bell tower to overlook the entire city of Florence and the dome of the cathedral. Once you climb up, you will still feel satisfied
