A must-go for family trips! 20-minute hike at Baiyun Mountain to watch the sunrise and sea of clouds

Finally took the kids to unlock the stunning sunrise and sea of clouds at Baiyun Mountain, the experience was amazing!
Just search "Lianfeng Temple, Baiyun Mountain, Fu'an City" on your navigation app, follow the directions and you won’t get lost~
A quick reminder: there’s no public bus here, so you have to drive yourself. Be sure to plan your route in advance!
The mountain road takes about 1 hour to drive, it’s quite winding, so drive very slowly and safely!
There’s a free parking area right in front of Lianfeng Temple, super convenient, no need to look for parking spots everywhere~

The hiking trail is very friendly, just one stone stair path, easy to walk with kids 👨‍👩‍👧
Stick to the “keep right” rule the whole way! Don’t panic if you see forks, just choose the right side.
It takes about 20 minutes to reach the top, just in time to catch the first light of dawn, the view is breathtaking!

The weather has been great lately, so there’s a high chance to see the sunrise and sea of clouds together these days ☁️
There are some small restaurants and a few accommodations at the foot of the mountain. We didn’t stay or eat there, so can’t recommend any~
If you’re coming from far away, it’s better to stay at the foot of the mountain so you won’t be too tired hiking early the next day, and the kids can rest well!

Local villagers said it snows on the mountaintop in winter ❄️, instantly looking forward to staying overnight! Already promised the kids to come back in winter~
Moms with tents can even camp at the top with their kids, fully immersing in the natural beauty!
The whole mountain is covered with swaying reeds in the wind, combined with the sunrise, forest, and sea of clouds, it’s truly healing, all fatigue just melts away!
