Qinghui Garden is an ancient garden complex dating back to the Ming Dynasty. Located on Qinghui Road in Daliang Town, Shunde District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, in the heart of the city, it formerly housed the Huang Family Garden, built by Huang Shijun, the top scholar of the late Ming Dynasty. The existing buildings were primarily constructed during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. The garden embodies the owner's vision of immersing oneself in the beauty of mountains and rivers, enjoying the winding paths and lotus breezes. Inspired by the famous line of the Southern Dynasties poet Xie Lingyun, "Dusk and dawn change the climate, and the mountains and rivers are imbued with clear light," the garden was named "Qinghui." The garden was renovated repeatedly by five generations of the Long family, including Long Yingshi, Long Tinghuai, Long Yuanren, Long Jingcan, and Long Zhuhui, gradually forming a complete and distinctive Lingnan garden. Along with Liangyuan in Foshan, Yuyin Shanfang (also known as Yuyin Garden) in Panyu, and Keyuan in Dongguan, Qinghui Garden is considered one of the four famous gardens of Guangdong. It is a representative example of Lingnan gardens and a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit.
