I did a lot of research on choosing a hotel before setting off, and in the end I was very happy to choose Shuhokaku Kogetsu, which faces Mount Fuji and is right on the edge of Lake Kawaguchi. The room also has the most frontal view. It happens to be a good weather day, so I can see Mount Fuji in various lights at once.

Although the hotel is relatively old and not big, the facilities are very complete. You can soak your feet in the hot spring on the balcony of the room and enjoy it while soaking. There are various soft drinks in the rest area on the first floor, and you can drink local beer, red wine and white wine for free. Dinner is omakase in the room. It is carefully prepared every day and tastes very good!

There are also free massage chairs and table tennis rooms in the hotel. I didn't go to the outdoor hot spring, but my husband went to the men's bath. It is said that the scenery is unparalleled, and it is facing Mount Fuji. The Maple Leaf Corridor is right next to the hotel. Unfortunately, we stayed in the hotel for two days without going to the surrounding attractions. When we were leaving, the driver told us that the Maple Leaf Corridor was right next to it.

This time I chose hotels in Hakone and Mount Fuji very well, and I highly recommend them.
Especially Xiufeng Pavilion, you must book early. I was really lucky to book the room this time.
