Nichikawa Time Shop

Located at the end of the old street in Shimoyoshida, the Hikawa Watch Shop is a window into the Showa era of Fuji's soul. The shopping lane leading directly to Mount Fuji is like a ladder to the clouds, with telephone poles and ancient lamps interlaced, like a love letter to the mountain. The Hikawa Watch Shop itself is not a gorgeous landmark, but with its old-fashioned eaves, Showa font signs and nostalgic clocks, it captures the breath and rhythm of the past and becomes a watcher of time.
What I cherish most is the silence of the early morning: when the first ray of light jumps between the brick walls and the glass surface, the past and present of the entire street seem to be awakened. At this time, Mount Fuji is not just a background, but a part of the streetscape, and you walk with the mountain in sight. The Hikawa Watch Shop is not just a photo spot, but also a miniature ritual of "co-construction of time and scenery", reminding us to stop and re-experience the daily life of "breathing with the mountain". ðAddress: 2 Chome-1-31 Shimoyoshida, Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi 403-0004 JapanðRecommended reason: Nostalgic shopping street with majestic Mount Fuji
