[Yamanashi] If you want to eat Mizu Shingen Mochi, go to "Kinseiken"

A famous snack in Yamanashi Prefecture is Shingen Mochi. You can eat the clear and jiggly Mizu Shingen Mochi at Kinseiken in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture.

Entering the entrance with a typical Japanese curtain on the main street of Fujiyoshida City, you will find Yamanashi souvenirs for sale, including Shingen Mochi.

After ordering Mizu Shingen Mochi at the register on the first floor and going up to the second floor, you will see a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji (it was cloudy so we couldn't see it)! While looking at this magnificent view, I ate the clear Mizu Shingen Mochi. It is sprinkled with soybean flour and then brown sugar syrup.

It was a strange food that melted immediately in the mouth when cut with a spoon and eaten. I recommend it to people who like Shingen Mochi and Japanese sweets.
