Who's been here? This ancient temple in Hakata, Fukuoka.

Tochoji Temple is a famous temple in Hakata, Fukuoka Prefecture, and is one of the most important Shinto Buddhist temples, with a history of over 1,200 years.

The temple houses a wooden Buddha statue, a popular place to worship. It's easily accessible and conveniently located near Hakata Station.

The large red five-story pagoda (Gojunoto) stands beside the temple, a beautiful sight. There's also a garden to stroll around and enjoy the atmosphere.

The wooden Buddha statue is on the second floor. There's an admission fee, and the temple is very peaceful.

A visit to Fukuoka is highly recommended.
