Day two was the day we moved to our new accommodations!
While it's convenient to stay in one place, I wanted to experience different hotels with different atmospheres, so I chose two. π
Before checking in, I made sure to check if they offered free luggage storage.
1οΈβ£ Enjoying the Nakasu View from the Accommodation
β’ I took a moment to relax and enjoy the view from the accommodation before checking in. The Nakasu scenery outside the window was another relaxing experience.
2οΈβ£ Visiting Yoshizuka Station & Local Restaurant Kyousushi π£
β’ Kyousushi is a sushi restaurant popular with locals!
I especially recommend the lunch set. The quality was incredible for the price.
3οΈβ£ Gachapon, Purikura, and Don Quijote Shopping π
β’ Enjoy all of this in one place, right inside the Kyousushi building.
Purikura and Gachapon are must-dos when traveling in Japan, and Don Quijote shopping is a must-do!
4οΈβ£ Watching the sunset at Yoshizuka π
β’ The sunset I happened to see was truly beautiful. Even though it was in the middle of the city, the calm atmosphere allowed me to enjoy the leisurely pace of my trip.
5οΈβ£ Checking in to my accommodation & resting π¨
β’ It rained, so I returned to the hotel for a while to rest. Fukuoka's summer weather is so unpredictable, so this kind of flexibility is essential.
6οΈβ£ Yakiniku dinner in Nakasu π₯©π₯
β’ For dinner, we had yakiniku in the charming Nakasu area!
After a delicious grilled meal, we took a walk along the Nakasu River to help with digestion.
7οΈβ£ Wrapping up at my accommodation ποΈ
β’ After taking a break with some essential items I bought at Don Quijote, I finished the day leisurely at my accommodation.
It wasn't a tight schedule, but rather a leisurely and comfortable day.

π Day 2 was the perfect balance of 'eating, sightseeing, and resting!' It was a day that made me realize that a trip isn't just about filling it with things, but that a leisurely day is also truly valuable πΏβ¨
