Itinerary

Day 1: Sanfang Qixiang - Daming Food Street

Morning: Head to Sanfang Qixiang after arriving in Fuzhou. This is the only remaining "living fossil of the Li-Fang system" in Chinese cities. Stroll through the ancient alleys, touch the walls of Ming and Qing architecture, and feel the weight of history 🎞️. You can also visit the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall, Yan Fu's Former Residence, and other former residences of celebrities to learn about Fuzhou's cultural heritage.
Noon: Look for food in Sanfang Qixiang. Fish balls and meat swallows are a must-try. Take a bite and the soup bursts in your mouth, delicious!
Afternoon: Continue to wander through the alleys and visit specialty shops to pick up some souvenirs 🎁.

Day 2: Gushan - Shangxiahang Historical and Cultural District

Morning: Head to Gushan. You can take a cable car 🚠 or hike up the mountain to enjoy the natural scenery and breathe fresh air. At the top of the mountain, you can overlook the entire city of Fuzhou and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Noon: Taste authentic Min cuisine at a farmhouse near Gushan. The sweet and sour lychee meat is like tempting lychees.
Afternoon: Head to Shangxiahang, which used to be the commercial center and shipping terminal of Fuzhou. The retro buildings and red lanterns 🏮 create a great atmosphere, perfect for taking photos.
Evening: Find a riverside bar in Shangxiahang, have a drink, listen to music, and enjoy the night in Fuzhou.

Day 3: Pingtan Island

Morning: Head to Pingtan Island from Fuzhou. It is the largest island in Fujian and is known for the legend of "Blue Tears" 💙. If you're lucky, you can see the dreamy blue tears in February! Head to Longfengtou Beach after getting off the bus, step on the soft sand, and feel the sea breeze.
