Sky-High Views at Samaksan

#summervacay Finally got around to hiking Samaksan in Chuncheon and wow, what a ride! The trail is a solid mix of steep climbs, forest paths, and those fun rocky sections that make you feel like a real adventurer. It’s not the easiest hike, but totally doable if you pace yourself and bring snacks.

As you climb up, you get sneak peeks of the lake and the city, and then the summit hits you with this wide, epic view of Chuncheon and Uiam Lake. So worth the leg burn. There’s even a suspension bridge nearby if you’re into that kind of thing (I skipped it this time but kinda regret it).

The best part? Not too crowded, even on a weekend. Super peaceful at the top, just me, the wind, and a few other hikers quietly soaking it all in. Bring plenty of water and your favorite hiking buddy. Samaksan delivers big time for a medium-level hike with max payoff. Loved it!
