Misty Moments in a Hidden Japanese Village Above the Clouds

#gentingtrip

During my Genting trip, I discovered a peaceful gem tucked away in the hills—the Japanese Village at Colmar Tropicale. As I walked through the wooden torii gate and onto the stone paths, I was instantly transported into a calm, Zen-like world. The misty air made the garden feel even more magical, like I had stepped into a Ghibli scene. Surrounded by nature, koi ponds, and traditional architecture, it was so quiet and serene that I forgot I was still in Malaysia!

My favorite part was the traditional Japanese tea house and the scenic stone steps leading through the mossy garden. Everything was designed with such detail, from the bamboo fences to the flowing stream. Even though it was a bit chilly and damp from the fog, the cool breeze made the walk feel refreshing. This spot is perfect for anyone looking to escape the crowds and experience a touch of Japan without leaving the country. Highly recommend it if you're visiting Colmar Tropicale!
