Chew Jetty is a community of Chinese immigrants. The community is located on a wooden pier that juts out into the sea. There are old wooden houses along the pier, along with small local shops and restaurants where tourists can try local delicacies. The peaceful atmosphere and simple lifestyle of the community living in these wooden houses reflect the warmth and charm that is hard to find elsewhere.
In addition, Chew Jetty also has small temples and shrines where the locals worship, which reflects the culture and traditional beliefs of the Chinese community very well.
