The largest island, Gili Trawangan, has most of its residents living on the east coast. The entire island strictly prohibits cars 🛑 and motorcycles, with bicycles 🚲 and horse-drawn carriages 🐴 being the only modes of transport—eco-friendly, comfortable, and full of charm!

My friends and I visited Gili Trawangan in 2014 and 2017, respectively. The journey involved buying boat tickets from a small beach stall at a Bali pier, then taking a speedboat across the crystal-clear sea. The one-hour ride was incredibly convenient! Upon arrival, the white sandy beaches and the dazzlingly blue waters were a visual treat, instantly soothing the soul. ☀️💦 Under the tropical sun, you truly understand the meaning of vacation vibes. With no cars and no noise, it's a complete escape from urban stress—a place where you can relax so much that it feels like your soul is floating away!
