Guangdong Surrounding Tours | Hidden Homestay in Huolu Mountain Forest Park

| Hidden Homestay in Huolu Mountain Forest Park. Unexpectedly, there is a secluded homestay in Tianhe District. If you want to take a short trip around Guangdong during the weekend, this place can be a good spot for relaxation and leisure.
In terms of hygiene, it's not too bad~ It might have been open for some years, as there are water stains on the shower head and in the shower room. The overall room environment is quite good and spacious. The only downside is that the ceiling of the shower room and the bathroom is made of a grid, not a solid board, which makes me worry about safety while showering.

Environment
There are quite a lot of fallen leaves on the balcony. It's a pity that such a beautiful homestay has a strong smell of garbage and chicken manure outside (maybe my nose is more sensitive, my husband didn't feel it was a big deal). After all, it is located halfway up the mountain in a forest park in the city, and compared to places like Conghua and Qingyuan, the environment is not particularly good. The road we took to get here was a bit troublesome, as there is only one road in the village leading to the homestay. If you encounter an oncoming car, you might get stuck halfway, which is a bit of a headache. There is a tennis court near the homestay, which is nicely decorated, making it feel a bit different~ The forest park environment seems to be unmanaged, possibly because it is halfway up the mountain. The good parts are very good, but the bad parts are quite messy~ I also saw many people nearby taking oxygen walks.

Service Facilities
Overall, the homestay is well managed, and the caretakers are very considerate and easy to talk to. Since my husband and I came here to celebrate a birthday, we inquired about buying petals and a cake, and they thoughtfully gave us a gift, which was very considerate. Due to my pregnancy and the rain, it was inconvenient to go out, so they helped deliver breakfast to our room. On the day of check-in, there was also afternoon tea provided, which was quite satisfactory.
One advantage of staying here is that it is very close to the major malls in Tianhe and Sports West. There are also many food delivery options available to the homestay.
Overall, if you want to escape urban life for a short time and stay for a night while touring around Guangdong, it is recommended. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the nearby mall after leaving the homestay and passing through the village. For travel, I suggest using Didi, as driving in and out can be tricky and might cause scratches if your driving skills are not good.
