Location and Area
Huangshanlu Forest Park is named after the main peaks of Huangshan and Lushan. The entire forest park covers an area of about 1,200 hectares, with the main peak at an altitude of 295 meters, making it the highest peak in the southern part of Guangzhou.
Natural Scenery
• Forest Coverage: The park has a forest coverage rate of 99.9%, making it a veritable natural oxygen bar.
• Flora and Fauna: The park is rich in wild flora and fauna, with 460 species of vascular plants, including 434 species of wild plants, and one national second-class protected plant, Aquilaria sinensis. There are 41 species of birds, including national second-class protected animals such as the black kite, peregrine falcon, and kestrel, as well as CITES III protected birds such as the little egret.
