Guangzhou Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall! Encounter the spring-exclusive kapok flower arch.

No wonder the kapok flower is the city flower of Guangzhou - even the street lamps are adorned with kapok flower stickers, showing the deep affection of Guangzhou people for it. It's truly healing!

🌸 Here's a great spring Citywalk route to explore:
📍 Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall → Sanyuan Temple → Yuexiu Park
(These three spots are just a 10-minute walk apart, perfect for a combined visit!)

1⃣ Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall:
You can see a 356-year-old kapok tree and an 'I Love GZ' kapok flower arch. Pick a couple of kapok flowers and place them on the arch for a sense of participation. It's a great photo spot with a wonderful atmosphere.
2⃣ Sanyuan Temple:
Exit from the west gate of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and walk for 2 minutes to reach Sanyuan Temple. It's said to be very auspicious for women, so why not light some incense and make a beautiful wish?
3⃣ Yuexiu Park:
From Sanyuan Temple, walk for 5 minutes to reach the south gate of Yuexiu Park. You can walk up the Hundred Steps Staircase, and at the top, there's a particularly beautiful orange kapok tree where you can take stunning photos with both people and flowers in the frame (see reference photos 4 and 5).

🚶 Not sure where to go this weekend? Try this Citywalk route!
