Chen Family House

Chen Clan Ascestral Hall, the Chen family's home, was built in 1888 during the Qing Dynasty. The Chen family members from all over Guangdong Province pooled money to build it as a residence for the Chen family members from all over China who came to Guangzhou to do business, prepare for the civil service exam, etc.
It is currently an important museum, with beautiful and grand Chinese architecture and many valuable antiques on display.
