The Most Beautiful Season in Yuexiu Park, Guangzhou

A must-visit for Guangzhou citywalk! Hidden in the city center is a millennium-old historical secret, Yuexiu Park is just too fun to explore~

✨ As the largest comprehensive park in Guangzhou, Yuexiu Park not only boasts beautiful scenery but also carries over 2,000 years of history and culture of Yangcheng. The subway goes directly there, super convenient—come explore with me!

📍 First stop: Five Rams Stone Sculpture
A landmark of Cantonese culture! Legend has it that five immortals rode five colored rams to Guangzhou, which is why Guangzhou is also called "Yangcheng" (City of Rams). The sculpture is lifelike, a must for check-in photos!

📍 Second stop: Zhenhai Tower (Guangzhou Museum)
The first tower in Lingnan! Climb up and enjoy a panoramic view of the thousand-year-old Lingnan scenery~ Inside the tower, there is an exhibition of Guangzhou’s historical artifacts (ticket 10 RMB), a perfect place to learn about Guangzhou’s past and present.

📍 Third stop: Ming Dynasty Ancient City Wall
One of the best-preserved Ming Dynasty city wall sites. Be sure to walk around the wall for some easy-to-get ancient-style photos! ✨

📍 Fourth stop: Sun Yat-sen Memorial Monument
Built to commemorate Dr. Sun Yat-sen, climb the steps to feel the spirit of this great man~ Ancient trees on both sides create a lush backdrop, perfect for photos!

📍 Fifth stop: Sifang Fort
A defensive structure from the Opium War period, full of historical atmosphere! Walking on the stone path feels like traveling back to that war-torn era.

[Notes]
1. The park is large; comfortable shoes are recommended. Half a day is just right.
2. There are electric carts inside the park (20 RMB/person); you can choose this if you don’t want to walk too much.
3. Guangzhou’s weather is hot; be sure to protect yourself from the sun and mosquitoes!

There are many hidden activities in the park waiting for you to discover~ Take advantage of the weekend, bring your camera, and enjoy a spontaneous city micro-trip!
