Dafo Temple⛩️ is a large temple with a history of over a thousand years. Built by Emperor Liu Yan during the Southern Han Dynasty, it is considered one of the "Five Great Temples of Guangzhou."

Destroyed and rebuilt several times, the temple fell into disrepair during the late Ming Dynasty and suffered war damage. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi in 1663, the temple was continuously rebuilt and expanded. In line with the nation's religious freedom policy, the temple was approved by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government to be renovated as a Buddhist temple in 1981 and is now a registered historic site.

Tourists love to come here for evening photography because of its dazzling lights.
