📍Through the Mountain Park
"One of the old eight scenic spots in Guilin", climb to the "Pingshan North Pavilion", 20 minutes to the top, the whole process has stairs and handrails, the elderly and children can easily drive. Standing on the pavilion, you can overlook the whole city of Guilin, and the view is super wide. Surrounded by the Li River, the distant peaks are forested, at sunset, light and shadow intertwined, it is like walking into an ink and water painting scroll. There is also an ancient stone bridge in the park, which is perfect for taking ancient-style photos. It is recommended to come around 5pm, the light is stunning.

📍Dick Color Mountain Immortal Crane Cave
There are two peaks in Dip Chai Shan. The best place to watch the sunset is in Xian He Cave. Don't go wrong. The Immortal Crane Cave is a natural cave, like a long arched hall. From the foot of the mountain to the cave, you can get there in about 10 minutes, the steps are wide and gentle, very convenient with children. Standing in the cave, the cool breeze blows, the glow is slanting, the sun is slowly setting in the west, and the afterglow dyes the clouds. It's breathtakingly beautiful! The west side terrace is the best spot for photography, able to frame with the sky, mountain peaks, and buildings. Opening hours are 07:00 - 18:30 (18:00 stops admission), Guilin people and hold student ID free of charge, foreign tourists 25 yuan / person.

📍Yaoshan Hilltop Lawn
The highest mountain in Guilin city, you can watch the sunset from here. The scenery is super spectacular and you can get a bird's eye view of Guilin. However, the transportation is not too convenient. It is recommended to drive there by yourself and navigate the "Sky Wonder View Mountain Mansion". Tickets are $10, and you can bring a picnic mat and snacks to sit on the lawn and enjoy the brilliant sunset while eating. The lawn is tilted downwards. Be safe.

Tips for watching the sunset:
Check the weather forecast in advance and choose a sunny day to go to be able to see the most beautiful sunset.
