Jiangxi Three Mountains Trip 11

Jiangxi Three Mountains Trip 11
On the morning of October 17, 2025, at 9:40, comrades from the Heilongjiang Corps organized by Beidahuang Travel Agency arrived at the Longhu Mountain Scenic Area in Jiangxi for sightseeing. This is also my second visit to Longhu Mountain since October 21, 2007. After 18 years, it feels like the scenic area has changed a lot, as if the entire area has expanded significantly. Located in Yingtan, Jiangxi, this place is the birthplace of Taoism in China and a typical Danxia landform scenic area. First, we took the scenic area shuttle bus to the foot of Elephant Trunk Hill. After getting off, we walked along the aerial plank road, feeling as if we were inside a magnificent landscape painting. Elephant Trunk Hill is named because it resembles an elephant; the huge "elephant trunk" is so lifelike that it seems it could move at any moment. Along the way, you can also see unique Danxia landform landscapes such as Thumb Peak and Human Face Rock. Then, we arrived at the Luxi River bamboo raft dock, boarded a bamboo raft, and drifted downstream with a gentle breeze, which was very pleasant. The scenery on both sides of the Luxi River is beautiful, with peculiar peaks, and you can also see some hanging coffins on the cliffs, which remain an unsolved mystery to this day. After the bamboo raft drift, we went to Peach Blossom Isle to watch the hanging coffin performance. Performers climb hundreds of meters up the mountain and use special methods to hang the coffins on the cliffs, showcasing the wisdom and courage of the ancients. During the performance, there are also explanations to help visitors better understand the hanging coffin culture. Jiangxi Travel
