Guizhou - Huaxi Yelang Valley

Yelang Valley was a very unique and fun trip! It’s a 15 minute drive from Qingyan Ancient Town and about a 45 minute drive from Guiyang. I travelled by taxi which was both easy and cost effective.

Admission price was 40rmb and I spent around an hour at the site. A huge stone castle has been built with numerous stone heads dotted around and throughout the grounds. The heads were rather comical, and there seemed to be a stone faced figure to represent all the emotions you can think of. There is also a beautiful river that flows through the grounds.
