Statues at Yelang Valley

#chinatravel Yelang Valley is straight up one of the weirdest, coolest spots I’ve ever wandered into. It’s tucked near Huaxi University Town in Guizhou, and honestly, I had no idea what to expect. Turns out, it’s this wild mix of giant stone heads, funky sculptures, tribal vibes, and nature all mashed together.

It feels like stepping into someone’s dream (or maybe their fever dream). You’ll see stone faces peeking out of cliffs, totem poles, mossy paths, and random carvings that look ancient but also kinda modern? It’s super chill to walk around, no guide needed, just follow the paths and explore.

Some parts are a little overgrown, which adds to the mystery. Bring water and snacks because there’s not a lot of food around. Also, wear decent shoes, a few paths are a bit uneven.

It’s artsy, weird, peaceful, and just a fun break from the usual touristy stuff. Yelang Valley is low key magical. No crowds, just vibes.
