The name of Laozhanggou Village comes from a large stone in the area that resembles a foot, hence the name "Laozhanggou". The village here is called Laozhanggou Village. Laozhanggou has a variety of landforms and natural scenery. It is located at the southern end of Huyuan County, Hebei Province, outside the ancient Great Wall. Lao Zhanggou is surrounded by green mountains and is sparsely populated. The southern slope of the canyon is covered with wild birch trees, while the northern slope is covered with wild grass. The altitude of Laozhanggou Forest Farm is about 1,400 meters. Because of the high altitude, the temperature difference between day and night is relatively large, and there is a unique microclimate.
