Heaven on Earth: Ha Long Bay, Vietnam

Located just 2 hours east from Hanoi, Ha Long Bay offers an incredible mix of enormous caves, towering islands and pristine waters to enjoy. My personal favourites were the Surprising Cave (you’ll be surprised by it’s size!) and kayaking.


I did a 1 day tour with Cozy Bay Cruises and I cannot recommend it enough. Most companies also offer 2D1N and 3D2N overnight cruises. Booking is easily done through Klook or your hostel/hotel.


Booking through a tour usually means a 7am pickup at the Hanoi Old Quarter and a 9pm drop off, leaving you a good 10 hours to enjoy the bay.
