I stayed at the ANA InterContinental Appi Kogen Resort in Appi Kogen, Iwate Prefecture 🕊️

This is the first luxury hotel in Tohoku that I've been interested in since it opened in 2022, and it even won a Michelin star last year 🥰✨
There are only 38 rooms, so it's quiet and calm, and it's exactly the kind of small luxury I like 🕯️🌙

Appi Kogen is a super popular snow resort blessed with rich nature 🏂❄️
During the on-season, when you're surrounded by a world of silvery white, it's a pretty high-class place, costing about 150,000 yen per room per night, but during the off-season, it's incredibly reasonable at around 30,000 yen per night 🫢🌼
If you don't want to do winter sports, the off-season is overwhelmingly recommended in terms of both price and crowding 🥹🫶
