[Hakodate] A panoramic view of Goryokaku! Goryokaku Tower!

Hakodate in Hokkaido is dotted with many tourist sites, but Goryokaku is perhaps the most famous of them all. It is a distinctive star-shaped historic site, and Goryokaku Tower is where you can get a panoramic view of it. It is located very close to Goryokaku. The lower floors are souvenir shops and restaurants, and you can take an elevator to the observation floor. Note that an admission fee is required to access the observation floor.

From the observation floor, you can enjoy a variety of views, including Goryokaku, Mt. Hakodate, the city of Hakodate, and the surrounding mountains.
