Sakura season at Hakodate

We reached Hakodate on 11 May 25 and never expect still have sakura blooming at this timing. We stayed at La’gent Stay Hakodate Ekimae Hotel for 2 night.

Our itinerary :
Day 1: Morning at Lake Toya and self drive to Hakodate, reached Hakodate around 5pm so we went to GU and Uniqlo shopping as the sunset around 6.45pm. After shopping, we drive directly to Mt. Hakodate parking and take the ropeway as car cannot drive up to Mt. Hakodate after 5pm.

Day 2: After breakfast, we went to Goryokaku Tower but sad that the sakura all drops on the floor.
Secondly, we shopping at Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse and Hachiman-zaka Slope for photo taking.

Day 3: Must buy scallop and kunbu at Hakodate morning market. Their price is the cheapest in Hokkaido. But remember to negotiate the price before you confirm to purchase.
