 1. Basic Information:
 • Address: Group 7, Dengshan Village, Huangyang Town, Liangzhou District, Wuwei City, Gansu Province.
 • Opening Hours: 9:00 am–5:30 pm. Ticket sales end at 5:00 pm.
 2. Historical Background:
 • Tianti Mountain Grottoes: Also known as Liangzhou Grottoes or Liangzhou Giant Buddha Grottoes, it is one of the earliest grottoes in China and is known as the "ancestor of grottoes." It was built during the Northern Liang period of the Sixteen Kingdoms in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, more than 1,600 years ago.
 3. Tour Route:
 • Depart from Wuwei City and drive for about 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach Tianti Mountain Grottoes.
 • Walk for at least 25 minutes to reach the scenic area after getting off the car.
 • Currently, only Grotto 13 is open, where you can see the statues of Sakyamuni and his disciples and heavenly kings.
 4. Reminders:
 • Clothing: It is recommended to wear comfortable sneakers and lightweight clothing.
 • Sun Protection: Bring sunscreen, a sun hat, and other sun protection items if you visit in summer.
 • Safety: Pay attention to your safety during the tour, especially when climbing steep stone steps.
 • Cultural Relics Protection: Respect cultural relics and do not touch, carve, or damage the statues and murals in the grottoes.

 • If you are not specifically visiting the grottoes, you can go to the second floor of Wuwei Museum, where there is an exhibition of Tianti Mountain Grottoes with better effects.
