Hakone Retreat Villa 1F, surrounded by a vast forest of about 55,000 m2, is a place to escape from everyday life. The 11 rooms are private, independent villas with hot springs, and there are no TVs or clocks. It's a true digital detox. Soak in the hot springs, relax in nature, and enjoy doing nothing at night by gazing at the flames of the villa's fireplace. This will be a place that represents the style of travel in the future. The hot springs in the rooms are of course free-flowing from the source. You can grind the beans slowly with a coffee bean mill and enjoy coffee in your room, or you can enjoy coffee for free as many times as you like at the cafe on the premises during your stay. The adjacent bakery also has a selection of carefully selected breads. The focaccia in particular was delicious. All the cakes look delicious. There are also many other areas on the premises where you can enjoy an extraordinary experience, such as a large public bath, lounge, and hammock space. For dinner, we had a Japanese kaiseki meal in a private room at the 100-year-old Sengokuhara Tawarasekikaku, and for breakfast, we had a healthy and carefully prepared buffet centered around local Hakone vegetables at WOODSIDE dining, a locally produced French restaurant.
