Autumn in Hallstatt

I've been to Hallstatt quite a few times. It's very crowded in the summer, but autumn is different. This lakeside town reveals its unique profound charm.

The golden and deep red trees on the mountains, combined with the lake, create a picturesque scene like an oil painting.
On autumn mornings, due to the evaporation of water vapor from the lake, mist lingers, and you will see a dreamlike scene, as if entering a fairyland.
Standing at any postcard-worthy spot, you can easily take a stunning photo.

Although it’s autumn 🍂, the temperature inside the nearby salt mine remains around 8 degrees Celsius year-round, so it’s still worth experiencing.

I strongly recommend visiting during early morning mist or at sunset to enjoy the unique atmosphere!
