It's a city where you can enjoy both gourmet food and sightseeing. 🍴🏯
First, we had a hamburger lunch at "Sawayaka."
The balance of the freshly grilled aroma and juicy meat was perfect, and it's easy to see why it's so popular! After getting your ticket, it's fun to wander around the area!
In the evening, we sampled some "Hamamatsu Gyoza."
The sweetness of the cabbage and the texture of the bean sprouts were impressive, creating a taste that felt somehow nostalgic. There are several gyoza specialty shops around Hamamatsu Station.
The next day, we went to the famous eel restaurant "Rin."
The carefully grilled eel was fragrant, and the richness of the sauce was impressive. The unagi (shiroyaki) was also elegant, a taste that really captured Hamamatsu's eel culture.
Then, we toured the "Unagi Pie Factory."
You can see how the classic souvenir "Unagi Pie" is made,
and enjoy tasting samples while surrounded by the fragrant, sweet aroma.
I even ended up having a parfait topped with eel pie!
Finally, I strolled around Hamamatsu Castle. I enjoyed the view from the castle tower and the serene Shizuoka air.
It was a trip where I was able to fully enjoy both the flavors and history of Hamamatsu.
