Nestled on the West Lake! Stay at the Ansu Hotel in the Tiger Leaping Gorge Forest

Hangzhou West Lake Ansu Hotel
Hangzhou West Lake Ansu Hotel is located in the West Lake District, hidden in the "Sweet Osmanthus Rain" scenic area, surrounded by Tiger Leaping Gorge Mountain and Jiuyao Mountain. You can walk to Leifeng Pagoda and Taiziwan Park. Here, you can not only experience the hustle and bustle of the city, but also enjoy the tranquility of the mountains and forests. In spring, the cherry blossoms are like snow, and in autumn, the fragrance of osmanthus permeates the air. You can see the greenery when you open the window, and when you go out, you can see the poetic scroll of the ten scenic spots of West Lake.
Inspired by the aesthetics of reclusion in the Southern Song Dynasty, the hotel was designed by Fang Lingjia, who transformed 800 spaces into a quiet courtyard with 17 guest rooms. The building is no more than three stories high, and the eaves hang low among the shadows of the trees. The original wood tones echo the natural rammed earth walls, and the bamboo shadows in the courtyard are whirling, creating different scenery with each step. The interior abandons complexity and creates a wabi-sabi atmosphere with elegant wooden furniture and warm yellow lighting. Every detail interprets the philosophy of "seclusion."
Quality equipment: Yalan custom mattress, Dyson hair dryer, Boss audio system, Tiger Leaping Gorge spring water tea set, Mini Bar: free drinks. Bath products are Le Labo 33, sandalwood awakens the senses. The daily replenished "Almighty Travel Pack" and the free sweet soup to warm the stomach late at night reveal warmth everywhere. Yue Lan Restaurant: Floor-to-ceiling windows bring in a full view of the lush greenery, specializing in "creative Hangzhou cuisine." Breakfast is a must: freshly stewed beef noodles, sweet osmanthus rice balls in rice wine, Longjing shrimp wontons, with Yunnan small-grain hand-brewed coffee. Afternoon tea is mainly Chinese tea snacks, including lotus root powder osmanthus cake and bayberry ice bowl, served with Jiuqu Hongmei tea, which is full of Zen. Recommended dishes: Tiger Leaping Gorge spring water stewed chicken, aged Huadiao drunken lake crab, lemongrass grilled sea bass, served with Shaoxing rice wine, instantly transporting your taste buds.
Stroll through the mountains and forests: Hike up Jiuyao Mountain in the morning to overlook the entire West Lake; in the afternoon, ride a bicycle to Yanggong Dike to experience the allusion of "the long bridge is not long, and the broken bridge is not broken." Tea Aesthetics: The hotel offers a free tea ceremony experience, using Tiger Leaping Gorge spring water to brew Lion Peak Longjing tea, and the tea artist explains the tea art skills of the Song Dynasty. Cultural Exploration: Walk 15 minutes to the Southern Song Dynasty Guan Kiln Museum, or book an exclusive guided tour to listen to the Legend of the White Snake at Leifeng Pagoda at night.
