Nestled in the hinterland of "Sweet Osmanthus Rain at Manjuelong", one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake, Anlu Hotel is hidden in the mountains in a low-key manner. Leifeng Pagoda and Taiziwan Park are within walking distance, and West Lake is only a stone's throw away, but it is far from the hustle and bustle, and enjoys a quietness. You can see tea gardens and osmanthus trees from the window. In autumn, golden osmanthus fragrance is overflowing, and in spring, Longjing tea is refreshing. All seasons are picturesque.
The hotel was designed by designer Fang Lingjia, continuing the simple architectural style of ancient Hangzhou, with logs as the keynote, matched with simple wooden furniture and warm lighting, creating an oriental aesthetic space of "great hermit in the city". The three-story building is hidden among the trees, and the courtyard is full of different scenery. The tea room, reading room, and outdoor garden are cleverly connected. The light and shadow flow shows the gentle beauty of Jiangnan.
Yue Lan Restaurant: Based on Hangzhou cuisine, it creatively cooks seasonal ingredients. The freshly cooked beef noodles for breakfast and the soft-boiled eggs with smoked salmon are full of ritual; the afternoon tea includes osmanthus cake and Longjing mousse, served with Jiuqu Hongmei brewed with Hupao spring water, which is Zen and leisurely. Customized dinner: Reservations are required in advance. The chef customizes the menu according to the season, such as Longjing shrimp in spring and osmanthus glutinous rice root in autumn, combined with the sweet osmanthus rain outside the window, a double healing of taste and vision.
Brew Longjing tea by hand in the tea room, or participate in the hotel's tea ceremony class to feel the elegance of the "tea capital". In the morning, stroll on Jiuyao Mountain and overlook the panoramic view of West Lake; or ride to Su Causeway to watch the dawn and capture the ink painting artistic conception in the morning mist. The free vintage bicycle will take you through the sycamore tunnel of Yanggong Causeway. If it is in late autumn, when the 200-year-old golden osmanthus in the courtyard falls, the butler will quietly put a sweet osmanthus sachet on the bedside.
