Emperor Qianlong visited Jiangnan six times, and four of those visits were to this very place. What secrets does it hold? It wasn't until I boarded a rowing boat and drifted into this hidden paradise that I understood. From across the shore, I witnessed the tidal bore charging forward like ten thousand galloping horses. Only then did I truly grasp the profound impact of standing atop the ancient city walls.
