Visit Lingyin Temple

📍 Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China

✨ An ancient Buddhist temple with a history of over 1,600 years, located amidst the quiet valley and nature, it is one of the most important temples of the Zen sect in China.

✨ Inside the temple, there are many beautiful temples, such as the Great Buddha Temple, which houses a wooden Buddha statue over 20 meters high, and the 500 Arhats Temple, which has intricate carvings.

✨ In front of the temple is Feilai Peak, with its highlight being the more than 400 Buddha statues carved on the cliff face, which were built since the Tang Dynasty.

✨ The atmosphere in the temple is shady, with large trees, sunlight filtering through the treetops, the sound of bells and incense smoke creating a sense of peace and sacredness, suitable for meditation or resting the mind.

✨ It takes about 2–3 hours to walk around. Some parts of the path are stone stairs. Wear comfortable shoes and it is recommended to come early to avoid the crowds.

✨ There is a souvenir shop and lockers for tourists to leave their belongings. If you like natural and historical temples, I must say that you must not miss it.
