Tove Jansson Akebono Children's Forest Park

A park in Hanno City inspired by the world of Nordic fairy tales
The park features the Moomin House, exhibits of materials related to Tove Jansson, the author of Moomin, and a collection of Moomin-related books.
In April 1992, a letter was sent to Tove Jansson, the original author, to inform her of the plan to create a park inspired by the world of Moomin fairy tales.
This led to the support of the original author, Tove Jansson, and the park was able to open as it is today.
The correspondence continued for seven years until 1999, after the park opened.
