The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (Vietnamese: Bảo tàng Dân tộc học Việt Nam) is one of the National Museums of Vietnam.
The museum has a permanent "Vietnamese National Culture Exhibition", which consists of 12 consecutive exhibition halls. The introductory hall is a group portrait of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. The subsequent exhibition halls use language systems and settlements as the logical main line, and display the cultural traditions of Vietnam's various ethnic groups through a variety of media.
The outdoor exhibition area is a traditional architecture exhibition garden, covering an area of about 20,000 square meters. It displays 10 ethnic buildings, including the Cham and Yue ethnic groups. There are residential buildings, public housing and other types of functions, as well as water puppet performance areas, workshops, wooden boats, etc. .
My favorite area is the outdoor exhibition area, where you can step into the characteristic houses of Vietnam's ethnic minorities and feel the characteristics of Vietnamese dwellings. There are also many Vietnamese citizens wearing traditional costumes taking photos and checking in in the outdoor exhibition area.
If you are interested in Vietnamese folk life, you must not miss the Museum of Ethnology.
