Harbin in the Past: Social Life in Harbin in the Early 20th Century

I visited the "Harbin in the Past: Social Life in Harbin in the Early 20th Century" exhibition at the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum. This is a permanent exhibition at the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum. It is a themed exhibition with local culture, immigrant culture, and fusion culture imprints. It uses a variety of exhibition methods, such as cultural relics, pictures, scene restoration, and multimedia technology, to comprehensively display the magnificent development of Harbin.

The exhibition is based on the timeline of Harbin's urban development in the 1920s and 1930s. It is divided into three parts: "Immigration and Settlement: The Life of Chinese People," "Building Roads and Developing Industries: Railway Construction and the Rise of Science," and "International Metropolis: A Blend of Diverse Cultures." Through 1,382 precious cultural relics with local culture, immigrant culture, and fusion culture imprints, the exhibition introduces the magnificent chapter of Harbin's urban historical development under the same historical background from different perspectives.
