Cold Light of Yishui: Song, Liao, and Jin Dynasty Gold and Silver Ware Exhibition.

I visited the "Cold Light of Yishui: Song, Liao, and Jin Dynasty Gold and Silver Ware Exhibition" at the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum. The exhibition is themed around the Song and Liao dynasty gold and silver ware discovered in Yixian County, Hebei Province, and features over 400 pieces of gold and silver ware, including four major categories: wine vessels, jewelry, currency, and miscellaneous items. The gold comb with delicate lotus patterns, the exquisite gold phoenix and silver hairpin, and the ethnic-style gilded silver tail... These meticulously crafted sets of utensils, dazzling and exquisite ornaments, and gold and silver currency with ink inscriptions, all lead people to glimpse the social life and fashion of the Song and Liao dynasties a thousand years ago.
