The Heilongjiang Provincial Museum is located in Nangang District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. It was established in 1906, and the main building is a European Baroque-style building, which is the former site of the Russian market and a national first-level protected building.

The Heilongjiang Provincial Museum has become one of the first batch of national comprehensive provincial museums that integrate historical relics, natural specimens, and artworks. It undertakes the protection, excavation, collection, acquisition, research, and display of Heilongjiang's historical relics, revolutionary relics, ethnic relics, and natural specimens.

The Heilongjiang Provincial Museum currently has 2 buildings, divided into the front building and the back building, with a total construction area of 15,691.74 square meters.

The front building is mainly exhibition halls, with 1 underground floor and 2 above ground floors, totaling an area of 11,416.8 square meters.

Among them, the property rights area is 9,697.8 square meters, which is the site of the national protected building 'Harbin Moscow Market' and is now used as exhibition halls;

The back building is divided into a storage area and an office area, with a total construction area of 4,274.94 square meters.

Among them, the storage area has a 6-story structure above ground, with a construction area of 3,055.32 square meters; the office area has a 4-story structure above ground and 1 underground floor, with a construction area of 1,219.62 square meters.
