Phra Phuttha Mongkhon Maharat is a large Buddha statue enshrined on Khao Kohong, Hat Yai Municipality Park. It is one of the largest in the South. It is considered the "Buddha statue of Hat Yai". Locals and tourists like to come to worship and ask for blessings.

To get here, you can take a cable car or drive up. There is also a shuttle service from below to here. Before reaching Phra Phuttha Mongkhon Maharat, you will pass Phra Phrom first. You can stop to worship the large Guan Yin statue.
