Lai Wai, a small cafe with a view of Wat Chi Chang, Hat Yai.

🍃☕ This time I stopped by Hat Yai, I intended to worship at Wat Chi Chang… and then I found a sweet and mellow cafe opposite the temple called “Lai Wai”.

This place is more than just a cafe, it is also a shop selling beautifully designed rattan products and a small hostel in one place. The atmosphere is warm and there are many cute photo spots, both in front of the shop, rattan work, and various props that are carefully arranged in every corner.

I tried ordering the shop’s own tea and coffee recipe. The aroma is fragrant and the taste is mellow. Drinking it is refreshing. You also get to take home a cute rattan basket as a souvenir.

If you visit Wat Chi Chang, don’t forget to stop by Lai Wai to add some sweetness. You will know that a small cafe in the middle of the city… has charm that is no less than anywhere else.
