⛩Itsukushima Shrine
Itsukushima Shrine is a shrine dedicated to Amaterasu Omikami and Susanoo-no-Mikoto, and is said to have been founded on Miyajima in 593.
It was registered as a World Heritage Site in 1996, and is a traditional spot in Hiroshima that is worth visiting because of its solemn atmosphere and overwhelming scenery. 🍁
You get there by ferry, and it's already fun from there.
The view of the torii gate changes completely at high tide and low tide, so it might be a good idea to check the time of day in advance to see it!
The photo shows the gate at high tide, and at low tide you can walk to the base of the torii gate. 👣⸒⸒
It's a wonderful place where the scenery changes no matter how many times you come. ✨️
