Dongzhou Island: One of the Eight Scenic Spots of Hengyang, and one of the "Three Great Islands" of the Xiang River, along with Orange Isle in Changsha and Junshan Island in Yueyang. The island is home to historical sites such as Chuanshan Academy, Luohan Temple, and Fuzhi Tower, as well as ancient trees such as the Wuzhi camphor tree.

• Pedestrian Corridor Bridge: The only bridge on Dongzhou Island that leads to the mainland. It is retro in style and offers a wide view.

• Children's Play Area: Suitable for family trips, with facilities such as slides, tents, and a small beach.

2. Transportation Guide:

• Self-driving: Navigate to Dongzhou Island, park at Longjiaping Parking Lot, and walk to the island via the ancient-style corridor bridge.

• Bus: Take bus 137, 143, 177, etc. to Dongfeng Overpass Bus Stop, then take a taxi or walk to Dongzhou Island.

• Ferry: Take a ferry from Xiangjiang South Road to the island. Ferries run every 20 minutes and cost CNY 5.

3. Food Recommendations:

• There are many Hunan restaurants nearby, such as Wanghuohuo Private Kitchen, which offers affordable and filling dishes. Recommended dishes include beef and potato vermicelli in a clay pot and pineapple potato balls.

4. Travel Tips:

• Recommended visit time: 2–3 hours. You can walk around the island to visit the attractions and experience the integration of nature and culture.

• Photo spots: Wuzhi camphor tree, three-faced Guanyin statue, Fuzhi Tower, etc.
